Look for the word accountant in the dictionary, and it is not likely
that you will see a picture of Wally. However, he does believe in
client service at the highest level.
Only his extensive background in taxation and his keen business
sense rivals his flare for the unconventional. At EvansMartin since
1976, and partner since 1980, he originally organized the firm's
tax practice with particular attention to corporate reorganizations,
domestic and international tax, scientific research and development
as well as estate administration.
Wally is a graduate of Ryerson University, has lectured on taxation
at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as several
universities, and has made presentations at numerous business seminars.
Wally's community involvement is varied. He has been active as
CFO for various political candidates, was Executive director for
Brampton Minor Baseball and Brampton Minor Hockey Association. He
is past president of the Board of Trade, and founded and organized:
Brampton In Line Hockey Inc; Brampton In Line Radicals; and the
Brampton Nationals Junior A roller hockey teams.
He rides a Harley, plays squash, enjoys skiing and tries to play
polo. He believes that an active body builds an active mind.
