Paul is one of our "Tax Gurus" and heads up the firm's tax practice. He and his team of professionals are responsible for maintaining and expanding upon the firm's reputation for innovative and practical tax and business advice.

Paul’s focus is assisting owner-managers to retain, as much as possible, the fruits of their efforts, whether through estate and succession planning, corporate reorganizations, or other creative tax advice. He regularly makes presentations to organizations on tax planning and has lectured extensively on the subject.

He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1975, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 shortly after joining EvansMartin, and became a partner in 1984.

Paul currently is a member of the Finance Committee of the William Osler Health Centre Foundation Board and the Peel Business Growth Forum. He is a past Treasurer of the Brampton Downtown Business Association, the Brampton West/Mississauga P.C. Riding Association and CFO for numerous political candidates. He has also been involved with the United Way of Peel, Red Shield Appeal, Salvation Army, Miss Brampton Pagent as auditor and was one of the founding members of the Downtown Brampton Jazz Festival group. He continues his involvement with the Brampton Board of Trade as a Past President and is also a member of several local community and arts organizations.

Paul is an avid golfer and is our resident jazz connoisseur.
